Pato Lógico is now accepting proposals for the Telling images collection. Telling Images is a collection of silent books, born in 2013 as a space of creative freedom aimed at illustrators: each participant is challenged to imagine a narrative told exclusively through images.

About The Event
Pato Lógico is now accepting proposals for the Telling Images collection.
Telling Images is a collection of silent books, born in 2013 as a space of creative freedom aimed at illustrators: each participant is challenged to imagine a narrative told exclusively through images. As a whole, the books in the collection were awarded three first prizes and as many special mentions from the Portuguese Illustration Prize. And many of its titles are published abroad.
Catarina Sobral, Bernardo Carvalho, João Fazenda, Afonso Cruz, Nani Brunini and Marta Monteiro are some of the authors published in the collection.
The winning proposal will result in a title for the Telling Images collection, published by Pato Lógico in an edition for the Portuguese market.
The contest is open to authors aged 18 and over, of all nationalities.
The deadline for submission of proposals is July 31, 2026.
