Artebambini is located a little bit off the Bologna tourist track. it´s not a long walk though, and definitely worth it! Artebambini is both a publishing house a charming store. Their speciality is the Kamishibai, which can be a useful tool for mediating silentbooks.
At Artebambini you can not only buy sets for the Kamishibai, but also the actual theatre and the clappers, things that are usually hard to come buy. They also offer a great selection of arts-and-crafts book, with so many ideas to pair with your silentbooks..and I usually also find a couple of silentbooks in their collection. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they know all the Kamishibai-sets and guided me through the collection.
Make sure to look up while you are there! The ceiling is gorgeous, painted by one of their illustrators.
